It depends on...: ...The cause.  Eye strain from dry eyes can recover within minutes of lubricating the eyes or resting them.  Strain brought about from an uncorrected need for glasses will not disappear until the you have your vision corrected.  It is a good idea to see your eye doctor if you have continued eye strain, to determine whether you need computer glasses.

It varies: True eye strain is a result of either dry eyes from staring too long at the computer, or an uncorrected refractive error (nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism).  If it is caused by dry eyes, it can be relieved within minutes by using artificial tears and taking a break from the computer.  If due to a need for glasses, it will return soon after getting back to the computer.

Yes: Contusions over bones can take longer to heal. Try ibuprofen.

Depends: On the cause.  If refractive, can correctly immediately with glasses/contacts.  If due to double vision or dry eye, etc. Then treat and resolve underlying cause.

how long does vestibular neuronitis take to resolve itself?  i am on week 4 and am left with eye strain and dizziness with eye movements and just fogg

Vestibular Neuonitis: Symptoms of vestibular neuronitis include vertigo, nystagmus, and imbalance.  It is typically a self limiting disorder, and over time, patient report gradual improvement.  Improvement times can be variable from weeks to months.  Symptom improvement can be hastened with vestibular physical therapy.  If symptoms do not resolve completely, then balance function testing would be advised.

what can i do to relieve strain or tiredness of the eyes after a lot of screen time? work and social events now require all screen time, but my eyes are tired and burn after many hours. i use artificial tears and take breaks. anything else to help?

Eye strain:  I recognize that lots of screen time can strain eyes BUT when was your last eye exam?  If you have any visual issues that could compound the issue.

i went to the eye doctor a few days ago they said my vision went down to in my right eye 15/20 while my left is 20/20 and she said its because of eye strain due to the computer and phone. how long will it take my eyes to go back to 20/20?

: It is hard to say when, or even if, your eyesight will return to 20/20. But, when you are using your computer or phone, you should periodically look into the distance. This will help avoid eye strain and help to lessen nearsightedness, also called myopia. See your eye doctor at least yearly. If you notice increased blurriness, see your eye doctor sooner. eye discomfort/ strain/ pain when moving eye side to side ( only in the left eye ) just recovered from covid ( not sure if thats related ) no fever or other symptoms. 2mos ago same happened to my other eye (pain on extreme gaze). worried ?

Hmmmm: It's good the exam found no problem, but another might be worthwhile if it remains painful another week. Obviously, drink lots of water and eat so you won't strain. Avoid other strains as far as possible. Take OTC pain pills as directed and keep written notes on progress. Call the doctor if unsure. Best!

back/neck pain hurts w/position change and also when i take a deep breath i can also feel it go to my head. feels like an icy h.ache. heart or strain?

See a physician: This could be a number of things, including a herniated disc that is flared up and causing irritation to surrounding nerve roots. I would recommend a physical exam and thorough history to be safe.
