A member asked:

How long does it usually take to recover from eye strain?

It depends on...: ...The cause. Eye strain from dry eyes can recover within minutes of lubricating the eyes or resting them. Strain brought about from an uncorrected need for glasses will not disappear until the you have your vision corrected. It is a good idea to see your eye doctor if you have continued eye strain, to determine whether you need computer glasses.

It depends: Computer use is the largest cause of 'eye strain' because we do mot blink as much when we stare at the screen as at a printed page. Our brains need to consciously adapt and concentrate on improved blinking. A complete eye exam will show if you have an incomplete blink and offer suggestions to reduce eye strain problems.
