4 hours: Mobic (meloxicam) is an nsaid.  Depending on the NSAID and the condition intended to treat some nsaids may work within a few hours while others may take a week or two before most benefits are achieved. Mobic (meloxicam) typically starts working with 2-3 hours.

Potentially: Tramadol is a mild pain medication, Meloxicam is an antiinflammatory, and neuron tin is a neurologic medication.   I don't think it is a good idea to start three new medications by taking them all at the same time, if there is a problem, you won't know what caused it.  But once you know you can tolerate each medication, you can take them at the same time.  Thank you for your question.

ive been taking meloxicam 15mg for 11days. when can i completely safely take advil? i read the half life is -20hours so should i wait until 80hours? for back pain, how long can you take meloxicam daily? 10days? 2weeks?

: Meloxicam and Advil are both nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) that work by reducing inflammation and pain. However, taking both drugs together can increase the risk of side effects such as stomach ulcers, bleeding, and kidney damage. Therefore, it is important to know when it is safe to take Advil after taking Meloxicam. 1/2 life 20 hrs. so 80 hrs should be good.

i'm taking meloxicam 7.5mg for back pain. doctor said it was ok to take half as it made me feel very tired, could this also make me bloated after meal?

Meloxicam : Gastrointestinal side effects are common with nsaids use such as meloxicam.  At half the dose it may not provide the desired effect, unless one is truly "sensitive" to its effects, or there is an underlying liver or kidney impairment. Stopping the medication for a short interval to see if the bloating subsides may answer the question. A different med or co-treatment with a ppi can be tried.

is it safe to take sertraline hcl while youre on meloxicam(for back pain)? my doctors office and the pharmacist said its safe. do you agree? or should i be concerned?

: I find combining meds with sertraline ( &amp; other such antidepressants) is tricky&amp; concerning. However,I also would trust advice from physicians with experience using this combination and/ or from a knowledgable pharmacist. I wouldn't want a patient to discontinue an antidepressant in order to take a needed antiinflammatory medication unless it was absolutely necessary. That's why I also seek advice

Yes: You can take another dose of the meloxicam but no more NSAIDS for at least 12 hours. You should discuss this with the Doc who Rxd the meloxicam.  Max  dose of meloxicam per day is 15mg per day.

Talk to your doctor : Typically non-steroidals and rest is best. No heavy lifting. Conservative treatment over several weeks.

i have a lot of lower back pain to the point i have a hard time walking, because it hurts so bad. i've been taking ibuprofen over the counter  and meloxicam 15 mg prescribed that is suppose to help with inflammation but it's not working?

Challenging: Lower back pain can be due to numerous problems, including disc ruptures, facet arthropathies, and strain, amongst many.  Often imaging studies fail to clearly find the "pain generator".  Recommend a visit to a physiatrist, start physical therapy, do gentle exercises, perhaps in swimming pool, consider modifying your medication.  This will require a shift but will be helpful.
