Yes: It will still work. In fact, for my patients that do have GI sensitivity, I typically tell them that it is okay to split up the 2 pills that you take on Day 1, in order to reduce the chance of GI side effects. Best of luck.

Not an easy question: If you are talking about a 1000mg  single dose for sexually transmitted diseases (std), i would recommend you wait and be retested before resuming activity. The type and how long you were infected may be determining  factors. Again, consult your physician before resuming activity.

Bacterial: Antibiotics are indicated for bronchitis that is caused by bacteria.  A common antibiotic known as zithromax or z-pack generally can lead to symptom improvement within 48-72 hours after initial dose but sometimes even longer than that.

Taking antibiotics: yes  - but the time between doses should be kept to a minimum.     I would try to take them 15 mins apart  -  the medication is relatively easy to take -  just drink plenty of water between doses

it seems i can no longer take medicine with out getting anxiety. it could be ibuprofen which i have taken many times or the zpack. why?

Sometimes.: Some medications , even antibiotics , can cause side-effects ,including anxiety. You need to remember what these medications are so you can avoid them in the future and look for a substitute. Eventually you can come across a medications that does not cause anxiety through a process of elimination. On the other hand, you may anticipate anxiety and that can be a self-fulfilling prophecy.

so i'm taken one powder dose of azithromycin for ureaplasma. i ask my doctor can i go on something longer cause  i dont think it work.i still have symptoms.she told me no and u dont have to retest for it.i disagree. any advice?

YES: Taking the last pill a few hours late is not a problem with Zithromax.  Your treatment will still be effective.

if i am allergic to penicillin, can i safely take gentamicin? i have a heart murmur and do not want to use azithromycin any longer.

Yes: Yes you can, however it would be important for you to discuss the appropriate antibiotic with your physician. Not all conditions that cause a murmur require antibiotics.
