: Head trauma can damage the optic nerve. Some healing can occur over several years, but if he has had this since he was a child, there is a high likelihood that the damage is permanent. He can minimize these effects by wearing darkened, corrective lenses. He should consult a opthalmologist (eye MD) for evaluation.

: Go to uptodate.com and read about sternal pain. If it hurts when you push on it that is prob the problem. Have you tried anitinflammatories? Discuss and show to Dr. keep pain diary. It will prob tell you what is wrong.

If it is just: Under your skin in the subcutaneous tissue, probably a soft tissue hematoma.  Apply heat and massage the area gently.  If it persists beyond one month or so, it could be something more, so get medical evaluation.

It’s OK: When we have a blunt force trauma, sometimes the bleeding can be fairly deep below the skin, so you will not see the bruise.  That doesn’t mean there’s no blood, it’s just not on the surface of the skin yet.  Typically if the bruise is close to the surface it will be reddish purple, then slowly change to a greenish color and then yellow before it fades
completely.  It’s all good!

Depends: If you able to carry out your usual activities and the pain is subsiding, you may watch and wait. If there is any damage to the nerves, the pain has not subsided, the bruise becomes infected, or if there is an open wound, see a doctor now.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine
