Very briefly: Hep c will survive only as long as there are living cells present.  Heat, cold, time, and other adverse conditions will all destroy it.  It may survive in tissues, blood, or other body fluids as long as they are kept warm or are preserved for reinfusion to others like blood transfusions.  It is not generally transmitted through inanimate objects.

: Sperm dies immediately when semen dies. Probably nobody ever has gotten pregnant by this sort of contact and you're not likely to be the first. Don't worry about it.

Yes: Both of these illnesses interfere with the overall ability of the liver to do its job. You do know that hepatitis C is usually curable today if you can get into a functioning health care system -- consider a foreign country. CHF is often reversible if a cause is found -- it may be your meth. It sounds like you DO want to live. For the sake of those who love you, stop the meth. Best wishes.

Yes: Hep c infection can be eliminated in most people with proper treatment.

Cost-effective: The hcv RNA test is more expensive, so not good for the initial screening. The hepatitis c antibody test is cheap, so you can test a large population of people. If the antibody is positive, then those people need a viral load test (hcv rna) to see if they actually have active infection.  Some people with antibodies spontaneously clear the hcv, so it is important to get both if the antibody is +.

HIV: HIV does not survive long outside the human body (such as on surfaces), and it cannot reproduce.
Hep c could survive outside the body on s surface for up to 4 days but usually for 16 hours.

: Hep B surface antibody (HBsAb) from vaccination is 100% protective. Also having core antibody (HBcAb) from being infected adds no additional protection. Exposure alone, without being infected, does not result in HBcAb and does not increase protection against additional exposures.

Takes 2-3 weeks for illness to develop. Don’t begin to be infectious until then

Hep B is transmitted via sharing needles, blood transfusion or intercourse. Not on loafers in a shower

Some: Spread can occur neonatally and sexually.

Either is possible: Positive anibody test for Hepatitis C indicates only past exposure.  Negative PCR means the virus is undetectable which means it is inactive for the time being but with no guarantee that it had completely disappeared
