my 7 yr old son was just put on adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) xr 15mg. very dilated pupils and tingly feeling in head. is this maybe a reaction from too high of a dose?

First dose? : I'm not so concerned about the pupils, but if this is how first day to days of medicine I would keep dosing and see how he does over the next day or two.  How is he acting at home? What reports do his teachers have? How is he eating?   It's hard to say much about the dose without knowing your child's weight, but this dose for his age could be ok. Followup with your doc who prescribed soon!

took 30 mg adderall & zofran (ondansetron) odt 8 mg. resting heart rate between 100-125bpm. breathing heavy, pupils dilated, dizzy, some tremors. is this normal?

Sounds: like a pretty classic side effect profile of Adderall!!!

Side effect: This medication is related to adrenaline or epinephrine and also indirectly increases the presence of circulating  adrenaline.  The effects that you describe in your eyes are related to circulating adrenaline.

is there a way i can stop my pupils from dilating when i take adderall? seems i might have early onset glaucoma symptoms. adderall increases eye pressure because it dilates the pupils. anyway to stop this side effect of this medication ?

: There seems to be some misunderstanding. Dilated pupils does not cause elevated eye pressure in most individuals. If you have anatomically narrow angles, a potentially glaucoma inducing situation, then dilating the pupil may elevate the eye pressure. At 19 this is unlikely unless you are extremely farsighted. Your ophthalmologist can evaluate and treat narrow angles.

had pupils dilated for exam today and noticed rainbow halos around lights afterward. still seeing halos though no longer rainbow. is that normal?

Yes: You dilated eye can not focus well at the distance.  The dilation will last up to  4-6 hours.  If the dilating drop was a long acting it may last 24-48 hours.  The halo will go away after dilation.  If it will persist please call your eye doc.

Pupils dilate and: constrict under control of cranial nerve 2 and 3.  2nd senses light and 3d adjusts pupil to control light input. No dilation = deficit in one or the other or a medication in the eye has poisoned muscle function. Would be very unlikely to inadvertently notice that both pupils do not dilate. Close eyes in bright room then open while friend observes.  If they constrict they must have been dilated.

Depends on the drug as many things make them dilate but by different mechanisms.
