Pulled muscle:  Were you diagnosed as having a muscle problem, and not a ligament, tendon, or neurologic one? Temperature therapy probably won't hurt, but may not help. Would be wise to see your Physician for appropriate diagnosis and establishing a treatment plan that addresses the diagnosis.

Go back to doctor: If it bothers you that much and does not improve at all you may indeed have a tear. Go see the doctor. You may need further testing

Probable muscular: Any trauma? Neck problems? Pinched nerve?  Scoliosis? Pain that worsens with muscle movement such as deep breathing typically are related to skeletal or muscular issues. Discuss spine and disk problems with you doctor.

Few months to foreve: shoulder is very complicated joint and an injury to the rotators cuff muscle and ligament could be complicated and the seriousness of the injuries varied pending the classification and extent of the damages so the recovery will varied from a few months to a simple injuries to never for a complete damage that will required surgery assuming the appropriate physical therapy was done as well

I would not: Recommend this dose especially if you are narcotic naive.  One or the other would be a better choice but is still a significant dose.  I assume these have been prescribed for you but you should call the prescribing doctor before taking.

: Over age 40, annual routine lab tests include a metabolic panel and screening for diabetes. If you are anemic, a complete blood count and iron panel can be ordered. A thyroid test can also be ordered. Other preventive health screening include mammogram for breast cancer and pap smears for cervical cancer. You may get an EKG and a chest x-ray if you report chest pain/asthma
