fibula fracture to heal
a more significant fibula fracure with displacement and cast will take 6-8 weeks 
to heal.

Fracture: bone typically takes between 6-8 weeks to heal itself.
primary healing is faster - through surgery - the fracture is reduced, fixated and heals 4-5 weeks.
secondary healing is slower - the bone is not fixated - may be casted, the body forms a blood clot that calcifies and becomes bone. 6-8 weeks

Fibula: Usually yes.  The issue is what position the fibula is in when it heals.  If it is not properly aligned, you may develop knee or ankle problems after it heals.

Without : Without seeing the images, it is difficult to know how much of the fibula is broken and how displaced it really is.  The symptoms you're having sound like part of the peroneal nerve is irritated--either from swelling or from the fracture.  Most of these injuries are stretch or bruising injuries, called neurapraxias, that resolve with time, usually about 3 months.  Occasionally, a nerve can be severed, but usually there is muscle weakness to show the more severe injury.

In principle, fractures of the fibular shaft are left to heal without surgery.  We can remove a large portion of the fibula as bone graft without significant adverse effects, so we know the mid-portion of the fibula does not provide structural stability.  The closer to the knee, however, the more likely to affect the common peroneal nerve and the closer to the ankle, the more likely the fracture will affect ankle stability.

There are key ligaments that stabilize the ankle in the area known as the syndesmosis.  These ligaments can take longer to heal than a fracture or lower ankle injury.

Talk to your treating physician about the location of the fractures relative to the important structures.

Depends on fracture: Some fibula fractures are stable meaning that it is ok to put weight on them and they will still heal. Others are unstable so they either require surgery or in some cases non weight bearing. It would be best to discuss it with your Orthopedic surgeon.

See an orthopaedist: See an orthopaedic surgeon who cares for trauma. She or he can assess you and give you the options. Depending on your exact condition, surgery may or may not be necessary. If surgery is suggested, it is best done shortly after the accident (unless delayed by swelling, skin problems, other injuries/issues) since the healing starts immediately. Waiting too long make the surgery harder.

i have a mid shaft fractured fibula it's been two weeks exactly and can walk with little to no pain is ok to being working out in the pool ?

Yes but confirm: Mid shaft fractures of the fibula unassociated with an injury to the ligaments holding the tibia and the fibula together (syndesmosis) are usually caused b a direct blow to the fibula. They are a nuisance fracture and are treated symptomatically. Follow up xrays by your doctor are necessary. Confirm my opinion with your doc before starting.
