Yes: If the 6 mm stone has been in your ureter for that long, it is a problem.  If the stone is actually in your kidney and nonobstructing, having in there for six weeks is not  significant.

ANS: can be stone may be in bladder or urethra. U may have bladder infection from the stone that is causing problem. Tell your team and ask them to check you out again. And have them do urinalysis.

Poss Urgent Care app: You may consider a visit to an urgent care office so they can check for blood in your urine to further bolster the diagnosis of renal stone. Also they should give you a strainer so you can catch the bugger if it passes. A urinalysis would also help exclude infection.
 They may give you more powerful pain control meds.
Keep drinking fluids.

: If the the stone obstructs the flow of urine from the kidney to the bladder, you most definitely feel intense pain. It all really depends on the size of the stone. Since your other kidney would not have an obstruction and allow urine to pass into the bladder you will still be able to urinate. See a urologist for further guidance.

Quite Variable: Several factors, primarily stone size and patient anatomy, determine how long a stone will take to pass.  Larger stones generally take longer to get to the bladder.  Stones larger than ~5mm are at higher risk of getting stuck in the ureter and requiring intervention to extract.  Scar (stricture) in the ureter also decreases the chance a stone will pass. Yes: Kidney stones that are in the kidney are most often silent without any symptoms. If the stone is colonized with bacteria it could be a source of recurrent kidney infections.
