If not pregnant: This could  be caused by insulin resistance/polycystic ovarian syndrome, or other issues affecting ovulation. If only happens one time, this could be just a normal variation, one time event. Your doctor is an important source of information, and further testing/treatment.

Nothing is: Wrong. It is just a shift in your hormones that commonly happens when you are young. Follicular cysts are also common. Don't worry you are normal for age

Neither are common: These are serious concerns, but neither acne nor amenorrhea are reported as common known side effects. You need to discuss it w/ your Dr and seek actual causes - they may be hormonal. The reason for the Rx may be important too. Try to reduce fear by facts and support. Ibuprofen/heat: Ovarian cysts are common. Ovaries make cysts for a living. They go away on their own (usually unless larger then 6 cm then your doctor should watch the resolution). Period pains can be relieved by nsaids (motrin/ibuprofen/naproxyn/pamprin etc) and heat (heating pad, gelpacks, thermowraps). If you have a known cyst make sure you listen to your doctor's recommendations.

Variable.: It sounds like you had a ruptured follicular cyst.  This happens when the normal ovarian follicle doesn't release an ovum but instead continues to grow.  (In your case in grew to the point it ruptured.)  Follicular cysts don't produce the normal pattern of hormones that regulate that menstrual cycle.  If your cycles are usually regular, you should have a period within 4 weeks.

Dysmenorrhea: You have severe mens pain and if your exam is negative for certain and you should have a pelvic sonogram and Ca125 to check for endometriosis if infection is rule out. You should see a Gyn ASAP and best od luck

Go see your: Gyn and get checked for ovarian cyst on the other side or your pain could be from endometriosis, infection/inflammation of your fallopian tubes, adhesions etc. Your other symptom is related to approaching menopause.
