Accepted Answer

Contact point: It will usually be near the contact point but body fluids with the hsv virus in it can infect your skin in surrounding areas.  Most guys will have herpes at the base the penis so women will commonly see out breaks on their labia. If treated within 2-3 days you might reduce symptoms. But get diagnosed first to see if it is herpes or something else.

Accepted Answer

Herpes simplex: Herpetic lesions are usually vesicles (blisters) and are often quite painful and tender. These do not sound like Herpes, but the only way to be sure is to go and be checked.

See below: Ulcers can be chancres and blisters can be allergic reactions. Ulcers can also be seen with folliculitis or sebaceous cysts of the vulva.

Whitehead on penis: May be lichen nitidus. if it goes away would not be concerned.  Follow up with dermatologist

im having genital herpes outbreak, usuallly i take acyclovior..but pharm told me it might affect my ulcer. any home remedies i can do to dry this up?!

Unlikely: In several studies less than one-half of 1% of people taking an Acyclovir salt developed ulcers and all were over 50 years old. If you already have an ulcer this needs evaluation and treatment, possibly after upper GI endoscopy. See a GI doctor and continue acyclovir. No home remedies work.

Herpes Simplex: Many individual lesions can coalesce to form a larger one.

Yes: But herpes is the most common to do so.

No: Genital ulcers are not always due to infection. There are diseases such as behcet;s syndrome in which genital ulcers are common. They are also seen in reiter's syndrome although it is controversial if this is secondary to infection or not.
