Too late: The zoster vaccine is offered to boost immunity to prevent the shingles.An episode of shingles will boost  your immunity for a few years by itself. Getting it after an outbreak would not provide much benefit. Doing so a few decades later may be helpful.

Zostavax: The fda  approved varicella-zoster vaccine (zostavax) for adults age 50 ; older.  Talk with your physician about getting it at an earlier age.

Never heard of this: I would first go to a dermatologist and or infectious disease specialist. I have never heard of this happening.If true, you have a worrisome immune system.I would only get a living vaccine like the zoster vaccine after you have been cleared to do so, otherwise you may face significant complications. Not all blister producing disorders are shingles.

Vaccine: Although the vaccine for shingles dramatically reduces the risk of getting shingles, there is now way a physician can guarantee that someone who receives such a vaccination would never get shingles again.

Depends: It depends on your age, your medical condtition and your indication for this immunization.  It is generally recommended for those 60 and over but is now being given to those 50 and over.  Those with immunosuppression, lymphoid diseases and certain cancers, transplants etc are usually excluded.  Talk to your pcp or pharmacist about this.  It's a great immunization.  Shingles is a bad deal!

Absolutely: Shingles can be especially problematic for people with altered immune systems, of which ms is one. Talk to your doctor if you have been recently on steroids as to the timing, but ok to do if on immune-modulator meds like copaxone, (glatiramer) etc. A case of shingles could be devastating to someone with ms.

Dose dependent: This judgement has to be made by the provider. Technically low dose Methotrexate is not considered a contraindication to receiving the shingles vaccine. But only your provider will have a full picture of your immune status. Shingles vaccine is a live vaccine and not given to those with significant immunosuppression.
