Common: The eye takes a little while to heal and cloudiness sometimes is present a few days while the eye clears it out.  Most follow up on cataract surgery is the day after and one week after.  At the one week appointment, your operating doctor can advise you if you have a problem.

Cataract : Cataract surgery should rapidly restore your vision.  It may be possible to see well without eyeglasses, if you are a good candidate for a multifocal lens implant.  Your eye surgeon (ophthalmologist) will be to further advise you.

Good result: Your vision seems quite good, especially since you also had a retinal reattachment procedure. You may have a slight refractive error that glasses can be prescribed for. I'm not aware of the status of your retina, but sometimes your vision may have some after affects from your previous retinal detachment, like an epiretinal membrane causing some distortion. I think your iol is the correct power.

If a retro bulbar infection for anesthesia is done this may cause some short term 
 diplopia.

Depends: Is the double vision only in  the operated eye? ( when other eye is closed?) as long as the iol  was properly inserted , cause could be as simple as refractive error and corrected with glasses. Ask your operating surgeon at your next visit.

Vision &amp; Catarac: Vision usually decreases with cataract formation; Depending on pre-operative risk factors (ie, hypertension, diabetes, pseudoexfoliation, trauma, etc) the vast majority of patients achieve 20/20 vision after cataract surgery (low risk factor patients). Get examined: See your eye doctor. It might be something simple like a refraction (need for new glasses or contacts), posterior capsular opacity (needing a quick yag capsulotomy laser in the office to clear up the lens in your eye), or, something more serious like a retinal problem.
