Almost any age: Depending on the circumstances, age is not the primary factor to deciding about contact lens wear. Sometimes it can be easier on the child (and parents) to uses contacts than to struggle with glasses. This is especially true with young children. Speak with an eye doctor about the possibilty of contacts for your child. It can be labor intensive, but can work very well.

May be normal: Not sure what the question is. If you are asking if childhood delusions/hallucinations could resolve in adulthood, it would depend on why they were occuring in childhood. If it was simply childhood imagination, no problem. Thinking you can see through walls and other people's eyes sounds like imagination or delusions, but in childhood, it is more difficult to determine which sometimes.

is "avoiding eye contact" a sure sign of autism? or could it be a normal thing for 1.5 years child?

Could be normal: As they say, there are no "pathognomic signs" -- nothing which definitively establishes that a person has this or that disorder. So it could be normal; it could be not normal but not autism; or it could conceivably be autism.  However, it would be unwise to be concerned that avoiding eye contact alone, as an isolated feature, points to autism, when it may be, as you suggest, nothing.

When mature: Except in special cases when a contact lenses is needed for visual reasons in the very young, the basic rule for time to wear contacts is maturity.   The child must be old enough to totally take care of the lense, insertion, removal, cleaning, keeping to schedule without the need for parental involvement.  Typically this is about age 12 for girls and 14 for boys.

Vision loss and pain: These are alarming symptoms in a 7 year old.  You should report this immediately to your doctor and have her examined for the cause of the vision loss and the ear pain.  There are mainly possibilities.

Ped. ophthalmologist: If you are certain that this eye saw 20/20 without correction a year ago then this might be cause for alarm. More likely is the possibility that vision measured in a pediatrician's office might have missed the child squinting or somehow using the other eye during the exam. Many things are possible including cataract, diabetes, progressive myopia, etc. See a pediatric ophthalmologist to begin with.

my child recently had a eye test at optometrist, no problems identified. however, her left eye seems a bit lazy. teacher says she turns her head in class to see with her left eye. which child optometrist or specialist in pta wilk you recommend?

Basics: As a site based primarily in the USA we have no access to or information about healthcare clinics/providers around the world where the site can be seen. Such an issue would best be sorted out by an ophthalmologist.The kids doc should know who in the region would be available.

why can i see quivering mouvements of the heartbeat of my child throughly his neck, is this normal? he is a bit chubby, he had a bit of a headache and red eyes but after resting for a bit he was fine?

: occasionally the pulse in the neck artery can be seen. If his last peds check was normal then nothing to worry about. But if he has not had a checkup pl get one

URI: Your child has symptoms of an upper respiratory infection. He also has conjunctivitis as a result of the illness. If the fever continues take him to the doctor. In the meantime give him symptomatic care.
