Possibly, depends: Yes a stone could go down ureter with nephrostomy in place..with the tube you are safe from complete obstruction.  You did not say how long tube in and plans.  Check with your urologist today and get your questions answered.

Several causes.: The presence of a stent in the urinary tract can cause irritation to the lining of the ureter and bladder causing bleeding. Tumors, besides obstructing, can bleed if they cause any erosion of the ureteral lining. If you are passing large clots and blood, a known risk of stents is the development of a communication between a blood vessel and the ureter. Please see your physicians for evaluation.

Possible, but...: After stent removal, some irritation in peeing is expected but should ease to fade over 1-3 days. As to having clots in urine, it may last off and on until the healing of mucosa of ureter &amp; bladder is completed. If not fading away as usually expected, one still needs to rule out possible UTI. So, if bearable, just watch, wait, and see; if not, seek evaluation, care, &amp; counseling,

PCOS ?'s: PCOS usually involves very irregular "periods" with long gaps between bleeding episodes.  Heavy bleeding with clots are common b/c of sustained estrogen which creates a thick lining inside the uterus, and when this breaks down, prolonged bleeding with clots is common.  Ask your gyn physician about low dose oral bcp's which is recommended strongly with PCOS.

had a ureteral stent removed on monday , may 15 , 2023. i am still having terrible flank and back pain, stomach pain, and bleeding and blood clots when urinating. tested for a uti or infection, results came back negative, how long will this last?

: Today is May 23 which is 8 days post procedure then bleeding should stop by now. If not, there is something wrong so you need to contact your urologist. Good luck.

Not normal: Passing a lot of blood clots while you are on your period isn't normal.  I would definitely recommend you see a gynecologist and discuss this.  Could be due to hormonal issues, thyroid problems, weight issues (thin/heavy).  But that seems like too much bleeding for someone your age.  Rarely heavy menstrual bleeding due to vonwillebrand.  Get a check up so you'll know.  Take care.

Uterine bleeding ?'s: Passing clots following after a menstrual period may indicate pregnancy outside the uterus (ectopic). See your gyn physician for an exam and pelvic ultrasound, and obtain a serum HCG to be sure about pregnancy.
