Low carb: diet w/higher protein helps shift the body into ketosis.  That is the state wherein the body uses fat for fuel rather than sugar.  Please only do this w/doctor supervision.  Plant based diet is a good supplement to this.  Peace and good health.  Carbs turn into sugar.

Needs physicial: This may be true hypoglycemia (very rare) or  a multitude of different causes.  Get a STAT blood sugar when you are feeling tired and exhausted. If that is normal then a A full physicial and de3tailed evaluation is called for here.

Diabetes: Low blood sugar often results in a sympathetic nervous system outpouring.  Sweating, feeling faint, tremulousness, anxiety, irritability...what i call the hebie-jebies.  It's likely you are diabetic. If you are a known diabetic, you may be overmedicated.....or exercising too hard or eating too little for the medications you are on. DO not drive a car when feeling like this.

Better = ?: Glycemic index (GI) is how fast a food raises your blood sugar, i.e. the glucose level in your blood.  Sucrose has a lower GI than glucose, AND sucrose tastes sweeter than glucose. Also, higher GI is generally considered less healthy. So, I’d have to agree that sucrose is a “better” sweetener than glucose. Note: sucrose is still pretty bad, from a GI standpoint, just not as bad as glucose.

Check blood sugar: Most people who think they have low blood sugar actually do not have low blood sugar when checked.  The symptoms could be due to overexcitement, too much adrenaline, dehydration...I recommend you check your blood sugar during these times and see if you actually do have low blood sugar.
