None: We don't routinely recommend alcohol avoidance before a blood panel and the liver test results reflect reality but if you went on a binge you could wait a week or more.  Blood alcohol levels are not part of a routine blood panel.

Absolutely: Would recommend repeating test looking for normalization in few weeks and after abstaining from alcohol at least 2 weeks prior. If still elevated will need further workup.

Tests: A blood glucose test will be effected by alcohol and the type of caffeine one uses. 
A complete panel if it is a comprehensive metabolic panel includes liver function which is effected by alcohol.

Accepted Answer

It depends on how : Much alcohol you consumed, what your highest bac was  & how healthy your liver is, i.e., whether you are developing cirrhosis from chronic alcohol abuse. A blood alcohol concentration test is separate from a " liver functions" test.

Yes: Depending on the amount and chronicity of alcohol intake, there may be elevation of alt, ggt, cdt, and hdl, .

High blood pressure: Long term heavy drinking, causes high blood pressure.
Also the liver damage known to be caused by heavy drinking changes some enzyme that shows in our blood test.
Moderate to heavy drinkers also develop macrocytosis " enlaged red blood cell".
