See below: If you are out of shape, i would think that  you would start having breathing problems within minutes but true asthma takes about 15-20 montes or longer to show itself after exercise starts.

No: Asthma can affect just about anyone.  If you are obese, your asthma may be more difficult to control, but obesity does not cause asthma.  Occassionally obese patients are misdiagnosed as having asthma when they do not, and the diagnosis should usually be confirmed with a special breathing test called a methacholine challenge test.

: Part of the definition of asthma is recurrent bronchospasm. If this type of issue only happened one time after having Covid, then you do not meet the definition of asthma. Even if you do meet the definition of asthma, there are times in the course where some patients do become asymptomatic and they don’t need to take inhalers all the time. You can see a lung doctor to figure out this out.
