Soft stools, less pushing to void/stool and with activities like weight lifting will keep them from enlarging, excellent  hygiene is essential to keep them from causing symptoms.

Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

Need to see your MD: Yes at your age  it could be hemorrhoid , anal polyp , condyloma etc , but  you have  to see your doctor to make sure it is not cancer, once  proved diet, plenty off  fluids, regular bms   sietz bath and local creams when they flare will help you.
