Possible infection: Not serious. GF should get her urine tested for infection and likely may require an antibiotic. She should drink lots of water because frequent urination also helps to eliminate bacteria. Please advise GF in future to empty bladder after sex, because pumping action of penis, during sex, pushes bacteria up into bladder where they can multiply &amp; cause cystitis/infection.

If you are suffering from a sexually transmitted infection, then it will be crucial to diagnose appropriately. If you truly have kidney infection, i.e. pyelonephritis, you must be quite sick, fever is almost always present along with flank pain but voiding does not cause kidney pain, only pain in the suprapubic area. Besides infection, there are problems which can cause kidney (flank or low back) pain. Please clarify the pain location.

Friction abrasions: Rubbing human skin causes heat and friction. The "burn" is an abrasion from the rubbing, which takes off the top layer of skin cells. It is not a thermal burn (such as with hot coffee). Magic erasers are not toys, and should not be used on skin. For an abrasion that's not oozing, some Hydrocortisone 1% cream may help. For one that's oozing a bit, some neosporin cream (neomycin and polymyxin b) or ointment may help.

May need medical che: It depends on how many days old is this injury??. Most skin wounds and cuts heal in 7-10 days. As long as there is no drainage(Pus), pain or fever, it may heal by itself. otherwise you need a medical examination for possible antibiotic use to make it heal better and avoid a bad scar after it has healed.

Aquaphor Ointment: Mr. Clean's magic eraser doesn't actually contain any bleach or other chemicals. It is made of a fiber called melamine, and is essentially like a very, very, very fine sandpaper or brillo pad. So if you have a burn from a magic eraser pad, it's likely because you "sanded" off your top layer of skin. Try covering it with a thin layer of aquaphor healing ointment  while the skin grows back.
