Hydration: Skin that is dry may be related to allergies, or the use of dying cleansers or dry weather.  Hydration of the skin and the use of mild cleansers and tepid water is essential/  remember to put moisturizer on slightly moist skin.

: Try plain Vaseline first. Apply many times a day, especially after eating or washing. If not better after a month, please see a dermatologist.

Cradle cap: Seborrhea of the scalp (cradle cap) is very common in infants. Treatment is low-tech and pretty easy actually. Drizzle a small amount of baby oil (or olive oil) onto the baby's scalp then massage it in with the baby's soft hairbrush. Let that sit for about 20 minutes or so, then gently wash the baby's hair. Usually doing this a few times will clear the problem up completely.

Dry skin: Avoid lengthy showers w hot water (warm is better). Oil-based moisturizers hydrate skin. Moisturize skin often. Hydrate well – especially w water. Eat a nutritious diet.  Use gentle soaps or cleansers that are unscented &amp; hypoallergenic. Avoid deodorant soaps or other harsh soaps.  Remember that you don’t have to wash entire body w soap every day. Use soap on areas that are dirty or where body

Many choices: Best face wash i recommend to patients is aloe based as it leaves face cleaner. You need a moisturizer for the dryness. For acne there are many choices. Benzoyl peroxide, retin a, (tretinoin) salicylic acid based formulas.  Chemical peels.

Dermatologist: I suggest an examination by a board certified dermastologist. Often requires topical creqams .gels PLUS oral antibiotics.

Glycolic peel: In the future, it would be better for you to have a professional do your peel application. At this point, an ointment may help. Otherwise have your skin evaluated by your doctor.
