YES!: Too much of anything is no good. Too much water too quickly can easily make one feel very full. Too much water over a longer period of time can leave a woman feeling more bloated especially during that time of the month. BUT......the feeling of being fat is obviously in ones mind even though one can physically bloat and self-image is a very complicated issue. In general, water is beneficial.

Formula/breast first: It is not necessary to offer water to a 5 month old infant. If more fluids are desired, it is best to give formula or nurse the baby.  If he is consistently taking over 32-40 ounces of these daily, then water can be offered to avoid overfeeding and excessive calories. May also be time to consider introduction of solid foods, but babies do not need plain water.

You are you: What is the role of semen? It is to nourish sperm and to keep them healthy.  Your semen is your semen. You are not like other people I do not know how much experience you have with other male's semen, but there is nothing you are reporting that sounds like disease or abnormality.

It can be bad: Drinking too much water can lead to severe disturbances of electrolytes in your blood which can cause devastating medical problems. Your best bet is to drink pure water whenever you are thirsty. If you are going to be working outside in a hot environment then drinking enough water to prevent thirst is ok. Just don't over do it.
