Increased CO2: Get an ABG, arterial Blood Gas. Look for CO2,carbon dioxide level if increased will explain your symptoms. What is Known as Hypoventilation Syndrome. Obesity most likely cause  also may coexist with sleep apnea.

: Lumbar radiculopathy is caused by a pinching of a nerve root. The outside layers of the nerve control sensation to the lower extremities. If these symptoms of sensation with hot and cold are experienced it very well could be from the pinching on the outer surfaces of the nerve.

i had mri brain and all spine. +demylination and flair hyperintensities w no infarct- also very large optic nerve. ive had lots of tingling, cold hot sensations, spasms, bladder issues, weakness in right leg (used to be dominant) is this suspicious?

: Instead of guessing, work conscientiously with a neurologist and uncover whether your problem involves Multiple Sclerosis, Neuromyelitis Optica, Sjogren's, or a host of many other possibilities.  Find a practitioner with experience and wisdom, and have this addressed ASAP.

Start with an exam: When that sensation occurs, do you also have numbness in the overlying skin? If so, then you may have a lumbar peripheral nerve problem. Tests like MRI &amp; EMG confirm, but you have to start with a thorough physical exam. Hope that helps.

See neurologist: You describe a peripheral neuropathy, and many characteristics are common with small fiber involvement.  A few tests should reveal answers, and in many cases, highly satisfactory outcomes can emerge.

have had a knee injury waiting on treatment been immobile for weeks. burning sensation on inner left thigh, skin hurts, not red or hot to the touch. left foot has now become cold. cramp like pain in thigh? also have c diff.ideas what this could be?

Pinched nerve: The left leg symptoms are characteristic of a pinched nerve at the groin. The coldness of the left foot most likely is a sensation subsequent to the pinched nerve rather than true coldness of the skin. Truly cold foot would be caused by blockage of the artery supplying the foot. I recommend consulting a neurologist for evaluation of your left leg symptoms.

Difficult to know: without getting more history and examining you.  If you have a rash could be shingles.  Other possibility is neuropathy.

Hot Sensation: Hot Sensation from leg upwards can be due to many things: do you have pain with this? How much do you weight &amp; do you have diabetes? Consult with us as this may need blood work &amp; an evaluation.

Many things: At your age lumbar disc issues are less likely but you could have some congenital problem now showing up.
Also consider neurologic disease such as multiple sclerosis.
If you have further symptoms or it gets worse, go see your doctor.  You need a physical exam.

i've been dealing with off and on cold sensations down the front of my right leg for two weeks. feels like goosebumps. only lasts for few seconds?

A number of things: This could be related to a number of things.  If it affects that thigh area, may be meralgia paresthestica.  But like most things, if it does not improve, seek care.
