It could be : Lots of things, including otitis, trauma, muscle spasm. See your primary care doc for an initial evaluation.

See ENT: For the most part, the saline rinses work well - but if you firehose it up the nose, it can go into the ear through the eustachian tubes.  Time will probably take care of this, but if it's giving you a lot of discomfort, i'd probably see an ent.  I'd be curious to hear how our ENT colleagues would treat this!  good luck!

i'm having horrible ear pain and now i'm staring to get pain on my head above that ear. no fever though so not sure if its a infection. what could it ?

Ear and head pain: Several possibilities come to mind: an ear infection, a tooth or gum infection, or TMJ dysfunction.
Check with your medical doctor or ENT specialist for an ear infection. If there is no medical issue, see your dentist.

horrible ear pain that goes into my neck jaw and above my eye, my eat is muffled, dr says there is fluid behind my ear drum, it's been gong on for months?

Need to see ENT: It is possible your pain may be referred by something else such as your jaw or teeth. Usually this won't cause hearing loss, however. I would feel more comfortable having you see an ENT doctor and have him or her look in your ear and test your hearing. If your ear is ok then i would focus on your jaw as a cause. Soft diet, ice, antiinflammatory medications and see your dentist.

diagnosed w/ acute mastoiditis. no ear pain, swelling, redness , fever. horrible headache. 10 days on antibiotic . 1 week after finishing headache back?

Mastoiditis : Recommend you see an otolaryngologist (ENT) for detailed exam which will likely include hearing testing and ct of temporal bone if one has not been performed already.

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor.  You may have long term sequalae.

hi, how big is a hypoechoic nodule that is 3mm x 3cm x 2mm? should it be a concern. i am experiencing neck and ear pain and horrible soar throat. and a bit of lethargy.

More information: Ask your doctor to review your blood tests and symptoms with you.   3 cm is a bit more than an inch.  3 mm is much smaller, like 1/8 inch.

bleeding from ear after flying? flew 6 hours- the throat/ear pain was horrible + flu symptoms. lost hearing in both ears now 1 ear started bleeding

Eardrum: It maybe that your eardrum has ruptured. A doctor should look at your ears and recommend management. You may need an antibiotic. Keep the ear dry. All the best and I hope you are better soon.

doctor tested thyroid for exhaustion, weight gain, ear pain, sadness, heavier periods, and acne. she said thyroid lab is great. i feel horrible. help?

PCOS?: The symptoms for thyroid disease are non-specific, and common in the general population.  So there are many people who have symptoms that sound like low thyroid, but have normal thyroid function.  Your symptoms are consistent with polycystic ovarian syndrome/ Insulin resistance.  I would have someone look into that possibility.
