NoEvidence ↓ed blood: flow to muscle of the left ventricle during exercise vs. during rest. Yet beware: "stress tests", all forms, do NOT detect arterial disease; are only capable of detecting complications; plaque rupture induced clots large enough to create a &gt;75% narrowing of major heart arteries. In my experience EKG stress works better than nuclear/echo &amp; less $ yet still same problems. Seek better &amp; my answers.

Hi Angie: I tried to answer this earlier today: you have gall bladder disease. The ef should be between 35 and 70% the liver uptake is normal - that's not where the problem is. It's your gall bladder. Treatment will depend on your symptoms and other medical conditions.

Uncertainty: When a test result comes back as indeterminate, it means "inconclusive."  In other words, the degree of uptake into the mediastinal nodes was neither conclusively normal nor abnormal   Therefore the conclusion is uncertain or indeterminate.  It seems unfair to put you in this medical limbo but your doctor can do further tests to ascertain if the lymph nodes are overactive metabolically.

what does moderate to severely decreased uptake of the radiopharmaceutical by the inferior-inferolateral wall mean?

Risk for MI.: This seems to suggest that the defined areas of the heart are at risk for damage.  This seems to suggest that a blockage exists to the blood flow to those parts of the heart, which can lead to a heart attack.  This needs to be investigated further and treated.  You need an angiogram.

Contrast imaging: I take it that you have had a contrast imaging of the knee.
The term means that there is a filling defect in part of the knee (probably cartilage)  that was filled with the contrast material and that how it is shown on the image.
Probably the defect is secondary to overuse of the knee.

Hypothyroid symptoms: Common symptoms of low thyroid = hypothyroidism are:  fatigue, feeling cold, constipation, weight gain.  It can easily be diagnosed from the blood test checking T4 level as well as TSH level .  Consult your doctor for your symptoms and have he/she check the thyroid level for you

UPJ obstruction: Relieving the obstruction on the left side, and improved function, may take the pressure of the right kidney and may not be a problem. It needs to be followed closely with repeated scans and renal u/s.

Increased activity: Strong uptake on bone scan means increased metabolic bone activity.  This could indicate inflammation, fracture, infection, and/or bone tumor.  These results usually are considered in the face of plain x-rays and exam to determine the diagnosis.  Sometimes mri/ct scan are also needed.

what does it mean if on my thyroid panel, my t-uptake was elevated?

May be nothing: If the rest of the tests are normal, and the t3ru (t3 (liothyronine) resin uptake) is abnormal, the thyroid is probably working normally. T3ru reflects the amount of thyroid binding proteins in the blood, and can be high in women taking birth control pills, estrogen or who are pregnant. It's main use is to correct total T4 levels for protein changes, but is less useful since most labs check free T4 instead now.
