hi i think i have an ingrown hair on my vaginal lip, is there any fast ways i can heal it from home without going to see a doctor?

Warm soaks: This would be an unusual place for an ingrown hair to occur.  Quite possibly this is actually a small inflamed cyst in this area.  Sometimes frequent warm water soaks (don't burn yourself!), such as 3 or 4 times a day will encourage this to open and drain.  If in the course of the next several days this is improving, wonderful.  If over this time frame it is worsening, then see a physician.

do i need to go to the er to get this ingrown hair lanced or will a home remedy black drawing salve do the trick?

Compresses: Try warm compresses about 5 minutes 3 or 4 times a day before going to have it lanced. It will become obvious if it is working. If it needs to be lanced an emergency room is a way expensive place to have it done. Try to find a private doctor or clinic you can afford because this is a really simple procedure. Of course sometimes we have no choice but to use an ER.

i've got a few ingrown hairs in my pubic area that aren't going away. i read that cortisone or retinoid can help. i've got dapta gel and dovate cream at home. is it worth trying these? or is there another home remedy i can try?

Hot,packs: Would avoid steroids, but try hot moist packs to the involved area, washing well with soap,and water, and tweezing out the ingrown hairs. 
Apply bacitracin or other.antibacterial ointment after hair removal.  You might consider shaving the area afterwards and watch for repeat offenders.

Good Hygiene-surgery: See a good dermatologist or a surgeon to resect the infected area removing ingrown hair, the very good hygiene.Probably you will need some antibiotics foe a week.

Probably: It's probably okay but you can become allergic to these products.

Folliculitis: Usually will heal without oral med. If an in-growing hair is in it, it will heal faster when this hair is removed. Otc benzoyl peroxide cream or gel can help. Shaving too close is the cause. Shave gently. Do not shave over & over the same area. Accept less than a perfect shave or stop shaving this area. The longer you go between shaves, the more irritating it is.

Bartholins cyst: Might be a Bartholins cyst. You need to see a gynecologist In the meantime warm soaks may help

Wait it out: Wait it out is best.  It should erupt in time. Otherwise, you could have it surgically extracted by a physician.  Monitor for infection - may need antibiotics. Consider permanent hair reduction w/ laser hair removal, especially if this is recurrent.
