Folliculitis: Usually will heal without oral med. If an in-growing hair is in it, it will heal faster when this hair is removed. Otc benzoyl peroxide cream or gel can help. Shaving too close is the cause. Shave gently. Do not shave over & over the same area. Accept less than a perfect shave or stop shaving this area. The longer you go between shaves, the more irritating it is.
