These can pre-dispose the kid to sleep problems due to a narrowed airway but these need to be verified before major surgery. Brief pauses of up to 10 sec are common in toddler sleep. Longer may indicate sleep apnea &amp; benefit from surgery. I'd get an ENT evaluation &amp; sleep study.

It can be tall/average/short and can have tall ridges or short. Micro=small, retro=positioned to the back

Saline spray: Neilmed actually makes a great saline nasal spray. You mix a salt packet and warm water together and place in a nettie pot. Pour solution into one nostril and it clears your sinuses and drains out opposite nostril. Repeat on opposite side.
Otherwise a steamy shower always helps.
