using philips lumea precision plus (ipl at home), i have thin hair but black on my upper body, is it ok to use it on them or hair will become thicker?

Yes: Yes.  This is suppose to remove the hair or at least make it thinner. If you see no response with in 3months you could see doctor that does in office hair removal.

: Speak to your surgeon regarding what to use but discuss possible use of a donut cushion, and possible use of alternate day mupirocin to prevent infection as well as washing the area  2 -3 x a day ( wipe off with  antibacterial wipes), and getting up every 30-45 minutes to decrease pressure.

May burn.: Treatment needs to be individualized. If there are hypo pigmented areas such as. Vitiligo an excimer laser at 308 wavelength would be more appropriate.
