i don't know what spider bit me, but my cheek is swollen and my body has broken out in hives, including my face?

Doesn't matter...: ...What bit you. Bug bite are all treated the same way, usually with antihistamines, and an antibiotic if an infection should develop. There are other causes of swelling and hives, however - so if you do not see a prompt response to a long-acting antihistamine such as allergra, see your doctor for a proper examination.

looks like rash/hives. on left side of cheek. used hot press, waited (1-2 hr). went away. then appeared on right cheek. repeated. allergic reaction?

Raised?: If the rash are raised, then they are hives. Acute hives may be from a viral infection, food allergy, or a drug reaction. Try taking antihistamine to see if it helps. If it gets worse especially with respiratory problem or persists &gt;6 wks, see allergist.

the cheek tissue by my upper molars feels like hives. it has been there for over a month.. can it be scarring from braces as a kid or should i c a dr?

Likely contact: Localized skin issues are often due to things that contact that space.I suppose you are right handed &amp; touch that side of your face with contaminated fingers or you lay on that side to sleep.Unwashed fingers can carry a variety of plant/animal/dirt/chemical material to the site.You could also have a variant of a cold sore erupt as a similar event. An exam might help sort it out. It is not hormonal

Sometimes: Hives may take form of lumps (like after insect bite) or small pimple-like bumps.  Hive often itches, whereas actual pimples do not usually feature that.  I would suggest a consult with local dermatologist to diagnose & recommend treatment.

Hives: Call your doctor for treatment of the hives and search for the cause.  Sometimes it is allergy to certain foods e.g. Wheat, soy, nuts, peanuts, fish, sea food, cow's milk or reaction to a medication or something in the house.  Keep a journal of what you eat and do each day in the event this returns over and over, you may be able to determine the cause.
