HIV testing: Nope.  It is likely you are not HIV positive with that results but it is not 100% at this point.

Remember there is better and more accurate testing. The HIV RNA test can be 100% accurate at 14 days post exposure.

Pretty accurate: According to cdc site, "in the clinical studies by the manufacturer, the oraquick oral fluid test correctly identified 99.3% of people who were infected with HIV (sensitivity) and 99.8 % of people who were not infected with HIV (specificity)." of course, if you have symptoms of viral illness or characteristic opportunistic infections, get the standard blood test for confirmation or denial.

No*: The real-life answer is no.   *however, anything can happen theoretically, but we can't live our lives that way, can we?  There is risk to every single thing in life, such as walking to the clinic, so the key to life is to not worry about the rarest of possibilities.

Very accurate: The oral fluids HIV antibody test is the only one that sometimes takes 3 months to be positive. (All blood tests these days are conclusive by 4-8 weeks, depending on the specific test.) However, at 10 weeks your result is well over 95% accurate, so it is extremely unlikely you have HIV. Stay relaxed while you wait for your final test; it will be negative. Good luck and stay safe.

4 weeks ago i was cleaning or, there was a few drops of dried blood that i wiped off with a water/bleach rag. some of the water dripped off the corner of the rag into my eye. whats the chances of hiv? i took an otc oral hiv test. which was negative?

: HIV cannot be transmitted through above mentioned mechanism unless fresh contaminated blood on it, the virus does not live on inanimate surfaces or in the air. There is still a risk for transmission for other germs and an eye infection remains possible.
