The sensation of a mass in your throat isn't HIV and is probably globus pharyngeus is there's nothing visible -- the familiar 'lump in your throat.' it can feel very real. Try running dental floss across that tongue and see if the nasty stuff doesn't come off.

Nearly but not quite: Testing for HIV never is conclusive until there is a negative antibody test result in addition to direct tests for the virus, such as RNA testing (if done). Your results probably are 99% reliable, but to be conclusive, have an antibody test ("3rd generation") or antigen-antibody ("4th gen").

HIV: Do not know which test kit was being used, but most today cover both Types 1 &amp; 2. Check with the lab that ran the test. Good luck.

Stop testing!: You have been seriously overtested for HIV. The duo test is always positive within 4 weeks of infection. Every test after that was superfluous and a waste of money. It is past time to move on without further worry about it.
