my wrist is thought to be sprained because x-rays were negative for fracture, but i am still in lots of pain & have issues gripping. i was hit w/a slap shot on the snuff-box. could it be fractured afterall?

Yes: Would consider immobilizing for a period of time. If still in pain further imaging is necessary. Mri should be definitive.

May be a factor, but: A joint does not become dysfunctional because of an injection, but the problem may have been coming along and this may have been the final incident to "push it into awareness".  The problem when a nerve is involved is almost always for a short time and i would expect the normal relationship to return, but if this relationship is part of a TMJ cause that problem may still exist.

Accepted Answer

No explanation: No matter which nerve in the region of the buttock may have been penetrated it would have no connection to any hand pain or right upper extremity discomfort. Those would be unrelated issues to the injection.

the high-speed jacuzzi jet shot up my butt like a bullet and hit my prostate or colon. now i feel very strange. did i damage an organ?

Jacuzzi: I do not think that this could cause any damage or problem to your prostate or any other organ.  There is some danger with Jacuzzis.  Because of the heat organisms can grow and there have been infections some of which can be very serious.  Also if very hot people have had problems with dizziness and hypotension.

i got my seatic nerve hit from a shot, was in the er last night because of pain and swelling in my leg, shots didn't work and am still in pain.

Sciatic nerve injury: You mean a bullet injury of the nerve?, can you move the foot, or the leg? if the answer is yes, the nerve was not injured directly, but a pressure wave induced injury.
If you cannot move the foot, leg or feel at the same level the bullet injured the nerve with a direct impact.
In the first event, the pain will go away, you have an inflammatory response, which may last for a month or two. Be treated by a Dr. and undergo physiotherapy, for the second option you also will need a counselor .

If it is concussion: it only transitory , will not have residual neurological deficiency , to make sure see a neurologist and then don't worrey .

Whenever anyone : Asks how long someting will hurt it is always good to know how long it has been hurting you. If this is a fresh injury like a day or two i would ice it...If it is longer than that it makes it a little more complicated as we don't know the extent of the damage...In theory a needle can pierce a nerve if this occurs the pain can be there a long time.

Pain in buttock: You probably developed a hematoma from the needle.  This is a collection of blood which forms after a blood vessel is damaged.  As a medical student we gave each other shots and drew blood and my arm and buttock was very swollen and tender.  It does not sound like nerve damage.  To hit a nerve you would have to go very deep.

2. See a doctor to get tested for diseases transmitted through blood.
3. Let the site heal, without manipulation.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.  Drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless.
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.
