Chronic pain: Testicular injuries vary from mild bruising to complete rupture where the lining that holds the testicular tissue breaks.  This can set up a severe inflammatory reaction that can lead to bleeding, fluid build up and, in extreme cases, loss of the testicle.  A scrotal ultrasound can help see if any of these possibilities apply. Some men develop chronic pain from testicular injuries.

This : This is likely a hydrocele, which is a sac of fluid around the testicle that may communicate with the abdominal cavity and fill up with fluid from the abdominal cavity from time to time.  However, it is more common for these to enlarge over the course of the day while you are up and about, and then get smaller as you lie recumbent overnight, than the situation you are describing.  You should go to your doctor or make an appointment with an urologist to be evalauated.

Testicle trauma: You likely had some trauma resulting in the accumulation of fluid or blood (a hematoma).  You can apply cool compresses or ice (in a cloth or bag, not directly on the skin) for 15 minute intervals.  Avoid aspirin.  If no better in a few days or if you develop pain, get an evaluation.

Painfull testicle: Sounds like traumatic irritation to the testicle. Try fluids, NSAID, elevating (tight underwear or supporter), also use cool compress.  If problem persists, see a urologist or your physician.

sir now it's almost 4 months after my hydrocele surgery still my right testicle (operated side) is bigger and hard to touch as compare to left testicle.is it normal ?

: At 4mo - this really should not be the case. I would suggest that you return to see the surgeon again.

??: You may have been feeling your epididymis but that is not "hard" and it does not "go away".If you feel a hard structure please get examined by a doctor.

Left testicle pain: Check with your Doctor or Urologist! Make sure not Epididymitis! 
Most of the time the testicles are spared from trauma!

if i did a testicular ultrasound 2-3 months ago (dr said it was normal just epididmyis cyst) should i be worried about a hard testical now? can it grow this quick? how accurate is an ultrasound?

: A testicular ultrasound is quite accurate. If your testicle has become very hard I recommend seeing the urologist for evaluation and possibly a repeat ultrasound will be recommended. Epididymal cysts usually recede or stay the same size. Infrequently they enlarge or cause pain.

i think i may have had testicular torsion and i thought my testicle died, that happened 2 months ago. now: but now when i squeeze my testicle slightly hard i can still feel pain from it,since i can feel pain from it,does this mean that its not dead?

: First we have to make sure you had torsion. When the testicle 'dies' after torsion it gradually shrinks in size. Sensation in it varies as the spermatic cord is still there and can give some sensation. You should see a Urologist to make sure your self diagnosis is correct or not

Hello. : Hello. I don't know the cause of your pain. Pain can radiate to the testes from abdominal sources like renal calculi and hernias.  Abdominal pain can sometimes perceed testicular pain in testicular torsion.   Here are possible sources of pain: epididymitis; hydrocele; inguinal hernia; kidney stones; testicular injury; testicular torsion; varicocele or a uurinary tract infection.  It isn't possible to tell if this from an abdominal or  testicular source. Due to the severity of the pain, i recommend you go to the emergency room to be evaluated.
