i had a urine exam early may in which i had uric acid crystals. then in late june i had a blood uric acid exam which was normal at 4.0. does this mean i have gout or had it but it resolved? had a few symptoms before but now seem gone?

: Uric acid crystals can sometimes be present normally in urine. That does not mean you have gout. Specially if the serum uric acid is 4. Enjoy a normal dit and drink adequate water and you will be fine

What's the worry?: Crystals precipitate in most people's urine as it cools and usually mean absolutely nothing. The amount of uric acid is mostly a function of its production which is mostly about diet and not a worry. Calcium / creatinine ratio in grams/grams of .260 is normal. Perhaps there is a misunderstanding.

: This many rbcs in urine is NEVER normal. Go to uptodate.com and read more.  Then discuss with your Drs. Causes can be quite different in Egypt than in US and other areas.  Flukes would be one cause to consider but I have not practiced in Egypt.  Keep a pee diary as first guess is BPH with bladder bleeding. Then bladder cancer at your age. But just guessing as cannot talk to  or examine you.
