W/ persistent pain and swelling warrants an evaluation by your surgeon.Infection, blood clot , painful hardare or non-union of the fracture could al explain this.Would help to know what u have:tfn, cannulated screws, bipolar, etc?See your ors for an evaluation.

Walking, etc: After hip surgery, for the most part, there is transient weakness of the hip abductor and hip extensors.  Therefore, after surgery, a program of walking with abductor and gluteal strengthening exercises is typically recommended.  You will want to check with a surgeon on when to begin this program.

See your doctor: Usually after major surgery you may have limited range of motion and I advised against attempting any exercise routine on your own without proper instruction and guidance. Please follow up with the Surgeon and follow their instructions. Its likely that you will at some point start a specific physical therapy regimen to address the muscles affected by your surgery.

depends: Your surgeon will give you an estimate on this time, and it depends on your overall health, the degree of joint damage, the type of hip prosthesis being placed. The range is a few days to a few weeks. Technology such as the navigator ct system can decrease surgical swelling and lead to earlier ambulation. Take friend/family and ask about navigator system. Be well.

Bone is cut: When the hip joint is too anteverted or forward facing a patient can have in-toeing or "pigeon-toed" posture. A derotational osteotomy can correct this -  the proximal femur is cut and "de-rotated" then fixed with a plate a screws. Hip anteversion is common and 99% of the time resolves naturally. Surgery should be reserved for only the most severe cases and done by an expert in hip osteotomies.

Probably: I would check with your surgeon, but an ERCP would be generally safe to do in a patient who had hip surgery, preferably after about 6 weeks.  You would want to check also if you need antibiotics around the time of the procedure as well.
