Tight: The hip flexors are almost always too tight.  You need to religiously stretch them.  Also work on strengthening the gluts which help balance out the flexors.

Not usually: Sacroilitis is usually posterioly  in your buttocks.  If you feel locking or catching in your groin it could be a labral tear of your hip.  I hope thus helps.

ever since my spinal fusion for my scoliosis 5 years ago, i havent been able to throw up, my back severely hurts when i do things, my hips and lower back feel like they lock together also. what does this mean?

Hard to say: We see locking due to catilage problems, lack of congruity in appositon of the joints (if theyare  not fitting together properly)but the cuase of widespread locking is less clear. During your evaluation be certain you are  evaluated for hypermobility (increased flexibility). This could explain locking by lack of congruity.

at 13 i fell and fractured sacrum, it protrudes as the break set. i am 34 now and getting severe lower back pain and pain in right hip and down right leg and struggle to stand all the way up straight as hips and back feel like they lock. any advise?

Hip pain...: A few common things can cause hip pain after sitting:  arthritis in the joint, tightness of the muscles around the hip, inflammation of the bursa (a thin fluid filled sac that often sits near joints).  If it's been going on for a while (weeks to months), i'd check in with your doctor - usually you can do some ibuprofen, stretching, and physical therapy to improve your symptoms.  Good luck!
