Allergic Response: A rapid onset of swollen eyes is often due to an allergic response to an environmental allergy.  Eyes can get puffy, red, itchy, and teary after being exposed to allergens.   There are over-the-counter allergy drops that can help if this happens often.

Bug bites?: After hiking, skin bumps may be some sort of bug bite. It is best to take a long shower, then do a full body tick check, and change one's clothes after hiking near trees, bushes, or tall grasses. If they are bug bites, an oral antihistamine and using a skin product like itch-x and Hydrocortisone cream on the bites can help. If they don't look like typical bites, then a doctor should examine them.

Tick bite : At least 2% of ticks (Ixodes pacificus) tested in recent years contain the bacteria that can cause Lyme disease. In 2013, there were 5 reported cases of Lyme disease in Santa Cruz County, about the annual average (1.66 cases per 100,000 people). You  ask your doctor if you need treatment for Lyme disease

i am very active mountain biking, hiking, lifting weights. i supplement with creatine hcl daily (3000mg). i drink min. 1 gal water daily.
i was just given a one week prescription of clindamycin by my dds. is there any know interaction with these?

: It's best to avoid taking creatine along with any medications that can affect kidney or liver function. I don't think that clindamycin falls into this category. Your pharmacist can validate this advice,however.

Depends on State : Each state has different guidelines for prevention based on recommendations from the CDC the
federal governments guidelines for the United States.
Here in PA everyone is to wear a face covering until the Governor advances the regulations.
Have seen truck drivers wearing them last few days in a truck by themselves.
Have also seen park exercisers running without them social distancing.

Malaria prophylaxis: Do you mean malaria prophylaxis ?? Your choices are homeopathic, malarone or larium, it's an individual decision best discussed with your doctor and each of you individually, make sure you don't get bitten is the best advice

Phone the place where you will be staying and ask if the specified area is a malaria endemic area.  If they confirm this- you will need to take prophylaxis.  Contact your primary health care practitioner for a script to prevent malaria.

Yes: I believe you mean "sulfa allergy, " which will not prevent you from going to yellowstone.  Being allergic to sulfa drugs does not make you allergic to sulfur.

Maalria prophylaxis : The answer would be yes. As you are leaving in only 1 day, your choices are either Doxyxycline (i believe that there is a nationwide shortage, though you may get hold of it) or Malanil/generic. the latter is the easiest, starting today, and for use until 7 days after you leave the area.
