Do you take treatment for PA?  Pernicious Anemia I assume? `PA usually has a low white count

Anemia: A low red blood cell count is called anemia. Anemia can be further classified as microcytic when due to iron deficiency, or macrocytic when due to B12 deficiency. Sometimes we have a low blood cell count from bleeding or several other disorders. Elevated platelets are called thrombocytosis. Platelets are an acute phase reactant and elevate for several primary and secondary reasons.

Depends on how high: but most common cause of mild polycythemia is chronic lung disease that causes chronic hypoxia.  Ask your doctor for complete list of differential diagnoses.

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it might have helped to have the actual values rather than your interpretation of high and low.

my hemoglobin and hemocrit and rbc blood work came back low. with hemoglobin changing from 12 to 11, to recently 10.4 and currently 10.3 and hemocrit 30....occult stool was negative. iron levels a little high. am tired and weak ..what's cause?

: These results are indeed somewhat low, indicating anemia, but it's mild and probably does not explain your symptoms of fatigue and weakness. However, both the anemia and your symptoms could have a common cause, and all this plus slightly high blood iron level could result from systemic inflammation or infection. these are my blood test results: rbc 3.02 low-- hemoglobin !0.3 low--hemocrit 31.2 high--rdw 176 high--- bilirubin 3.09 high-mcv 103 high-- alkaline phosphates 120 high. are these indications of cancer-? 6 months ago these were in normal range?
