Yes it can: It has been reported that viagra (sildenafil) has caused heart attack in many younger  men more so who were taking nitrites as well
this was reported to fda in 2000due to post marketing adverse event report.
In analysis of 1473 major adverse event reported 522 people died, most from cardiovascular causes, two third deaths happened 4to5hors after taking viagra (sildenafil).Majority of patients were less than 65 years age.

Risk/ benefit: NSAID's do have many risks, but incidence of heart attacks and strokes are quite low indeed, the side effects can usually be mitigated or prevented.  Steroids possess numerous side effects, far too many to list here, but the profile is different from NSAID's in many respects.  All meds, even tylenol (acetaminophen) have risks.  Follow your doctor's recommendations.

Possible: There is something called "stress-induced" cardiomyopathy, or "broken heart syndrome." in cases of severe stress, sometimes the heart can get damaged and then fail to beat properly. This is not a very common condition, but I have seen it happen. 

I haven't heard of stress causing strokes, though. But, i can't say that with 100% certainty.

I cannot immediately think on a circumstance the two conditions could be related. However, pain in the chest area due heart attack may mimic pain from muscle spasm and viceversa.
