Depends: Stokes and heart attacks can vary quite a bit in severity which may mean a lot in predicting what will happen. The long term treatments can be very similar. The short term treatments maybe different. The doctors taking care of the patient will have the best understanding of the priorities in treatment and can better describe what you can expect.

some heart attack patients may be from emboli, or have low cardiac output and also damage brain with hypoxia
both have some common risk!
