Potentially : Use of acid blockers could help relieve some symptoms of heart burn. If your chest pain is due to the orientation of the stomach in the chest then nothing will help until the mechanical problem gets addressed with surgery. Get a couple of opinions from surgeons who do this surgery routinely to have an idea of whether surgery is warranted.

U Need Upper GI: By the sound of your symptoms, it's possible that the hiatal hernia has returned. I advise you to return to your surgeon. They will order an upper GI to look more carefully at your "wrap" and see where your stomach is in relation to your diaphragm. I hope it's a false alarm but, worst case scenario, it's fixable.  Good luck.

Palpitations : Palpitations are very non specific and can occur with any conditions. In fact are one of the most common reasons for consults as outpatients. It will not hurt your heart because it presses softly if at all and what you will experience is reflux disease and likely palpitations.
