Could be many things: It depends on how they described it.  The most common is a benign liver cyst.  The next most common are benign lesions such as hemangiomas.  If the liver has cirrhosis, this could represent a regenerative nodule.  Less likely causes are cancer.  You should discuss this with your doctor and determine what follow up is needed.

No: Fat density lesions adjacent to the hepatic flexure probably is in the region of the retrohepatic area representing the region of the kidney.  Depending on size and possibility of a perirenal fatty tumor, at times one finds liposarcomas arising in this region.  If there is a question, a core biopsy should be performed to rule out a fatty tumor undergoing changes.

More to it than this: This looks to be  part of a report of an ultrasound and this portion of the report is discussing the echotexture pattern of the liver.  Nothing in what you posted is very concerning.  No focal lesion identified is a good thing, but the whole report including reason study done would be more helpful. This is normal.: It means that the liver is uniform (the same all over) and doesn't have any areas that are scarred or damaged or abnormal.

: Hypodense lesion in the liver can be a Cyst or something more serious. it depends on how well you feel. If you have no fever or pain in the abdomen, it is unlikely to be anything serious. I would recommend an Ultrasound of the liver which can tell the difference between benign cyst versus other problems like liver abscess(which will cause fever). Seek urgent medical attention if you have fever.

: Hepatocellular disease is one general term which includes all the conditions with pathology of the liver cells and interstitial tissues, to separate from pathology of the bile system or vascular system. Hepatic steatosis is one of many hepatocellular diseases.

Need attention: Very non-specific finding. It might be a siple cyst or a tumor. An ultrasound might differentiate them.

Liver neoplasm: Ask your MD if it represents a benign or malignant growth.  If the MRI is not diagnostic then you need a per cutaneous needle liver biopsy

Why was US done?: Fatty liver changes are not uncommon with the growing problem of obesity in the usa.  For the most part, your us would be considered normal, and with normal lfts, i would only focus on the cause of fatty liver disease, either due to being overweight, being poorly controlled diabetic, consuming alcohol, excessive fat intake.  Start with dietary changes in consultation with a dietician/nutritionist.

i was just diagnosed wit ha 14x14x12 mm lesion in the posterior right hepatic lobe ( liver) is this concerning? i am waiting on lab results

Hepatologist: The radiologist and gastroenterologist or hepatologist will sit down together to discuss the differential diagnosis and what further tests would be helpful in determining the nature of the liver lesion. A liver biopsy may be the next test to make a tissue diagnosis.
