Special occasions: is fine - as long as your fibrosis is not too advanced.  and seriously just special occasions - like a few times a year.

Very unlikely: Even if her grandmother has HIV or hepatitis c, it is very unlikely to get such infections simply by chewing the toothbrush  used by her.

when should babies born to mothers with hepatitis c be tested for hepatitis c?

Depends on test: Roughly 5% of infants born to hep c mothers will acquire the infection. The mothers IgG antibody to hep c that would indicate prior infection will persist up to 18 months in baby so a + test would not be specific for baby prior to 18 mo. There is a specific test for hep c RNA that can be preformed at 1-2 mo. That would be specific for the baby.See red book, 28ed 2009.P358-360.

Hep C: Usually before egg donation patients are tested thoroughly. If tested positive now should discuss with your IVF doctor. They can give you the data you're looking for. It's a tough situation to encounter when all that work has been done. Good luck.

No: Kissing does not transmit HIV or Hep c unless blood from the infected person enters a break in the skin or mucous membranes of the uninflected person.

No risk: HIV is virtually 100% prevented by correct and consistent condom use for vaginal or anal sex. Contrary to popular beliefs, hepatitis C isn't sexually transmitted at all, except in gay men through traumatic (potentially bloody) rectal sexual practices. Heterosexual partners of persons with HCV are at no increased risk at all. Thus, little or no risk even without condoms, zero risk with them.

: HIV and Hepatitis B or C are not likely to be transmitted in above mentioned circumstances. It is somewhat unusual for a simple massage to involve genitals, would suggest clarifying next time you have a massage its extent as otherwise you will only trigger anxiety, while the whole meaning of the massage is to relax both mind and body.

Possible: Hcv is not commonly transmitted from mother to child.  There is data suggesting infection of the fetus in the uterus but this too is not common.  There has however been decreased infant infection with c-section.   Although hcv antibodies can be found in breast milk, neither the cdc or american academy of pediatrics recommends against breast feeding.  Perinatal infection is uncommon (1-8%).
