Let me explain: Hiatal hernia occurs when part of your stomach pushes upward through your diaphragm. Your diaphragm normally has a small opening (hiatus) through which your food tube passes on its way to connect to your stomach. The stomach can push up through this opening and cause a hiatal hernia.

CholesLo: It is on the market as a cholesterol lowering supplement. Its efficacy is questionable. There is no good clinical trial data to support its effect. Hence it might work or may not. Adverse effect data is not known.

Jimson weed: Herb with strong anticholinergic properties, teens are using jimson weed as a drug. Plant parts can be brewed or chewed. Effects include tachycardia, dry mouth, dilated pupils, blurred vision, ballucinations, confusion, combative behavior, and difficulty urinating. Severe toxicity has been associated with coma and seizures.

Toxoplasmosis!: Toxoplasmosis rarely causes disease, unless immuno-compromised. Women who have the infection in the past and contain it with antibodies, will not pass this parasite t5o the fetus. A women who aquires the infection during pregancy needs treatment to avoid transmitting it  to the fetus, where it can causes significant harm.  Cat litter is the most common means of getting it. French have more cats!

Don't know: Only one fake on-line drug could ruin your whole day. So...

One should not buy drugs on-line unless from a verified and trusted source ( like a mail order pharmacy) one should also not buy drugs on the street.  However, I do have many patients who buy medications from non us sources and seem to do just fine.

Not favorable: These products are essentially snake oil.
Many such compounds are marketed as having amazing results, regarding weight-loss, or wellness, or even treating complex diseases such as cancer. The "cleasing & healing" claims of such substances are totally unfounded, and their safety has not been ascertained in any large multi-center double-blind clinical trials.

No: People from okinawa are the longest living people in the world. Their diet is not the typical japanese diet.

Isometric exercise: Isometric exercises are very good for you and should be incorporated as part of a complete exercise program.  I have not heard of an "isometrix" program, specifically.
