Depends on iron: Generally I would expect recovery within a month to a normal hemoglobin, but this will depend on whether your iron stores are normal. I suggest rechecking in about 1 month and if the hemoglobin is not normal, having iron studies obtained. You may need to be on supplemental iron tablets.

Can be fatal: A Hgb of 4.1 suggests  near cardiac collapse. If no immediate transfusion. Patient can go into irreversible cardiac failure. Having an elevated creatinine in the 30 range means kidney failure,.Creatinine is a  waste product  that is eliminated in urine. .With a creatinine &gt;10 dialysis is usually suggested.  Patient may be having a terminal event unless quickly transfused and hydrated.

Nothing bad: actually the low level does not mean much higher level could indicate that you average blood suger could be higher than normal and it depend how high it is
lower level could indicate normal or slightly lower blood sugar and most of the time it is normal
the test is design to check average blood sugar for the last 1-2 weeks and the sensitivity and the accuracy of the test is higher in high BS

Near normal: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your hemoglobin is in the normal range and HCV is high. It may be useful to take multivitamin pills in case you are deficient in folic acid or B12.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

hello.  my follow up cbc came back with hemoglobin 17.4, hematocrit 49.4 and all other values normal.  two months about i had a cbc with a hemoglobin of 18.2.  so all values are normal now and i wanted to know if i should be concerned with anything. ?

Numbers are numbers: Lab results are numbers, and numbers are just numbers. They have little meaning without looking at the whole person. One's primary care doctor can review the big picture and decide if these numbers are good, bad, or neutral. For example, one might want to know if the numbers were higher or lower last week or last month. Numbers going up too fast or going down too fast will worry people.

It's early: Iron levels drop long before hemoglobin does. I'm glad you're interested in your health. Try to find out where you're losing iron (ulcer? stomach cancer? hookworm? colon cancer? 100s of other possibilities) or whether perhaps your diet is insufficient or you donate a lot of blood.
