i got a blister on my foot (on my heel) from dancing and i walked home earlier and it truned dark brown/black, its quite painful. what does this mean and how should i deal with it?

Common sense: Common sense would tell you to stay off of it. I would ice it down and try to not walk on it  . May be use crutches. The black and blue can either be a hematoma or bad bruise.  Time should take care of this but take care of your foot.

Skin: It is not possible to answer this question without a picture.  You should show the marks to your physician.   They may want to send you  to a dermatologist.

Need to see: If it is actually black, then you need to see your MD to have this sore looked at. Often oxygen poor blood can look very dark, but not black. In any event, this requires getting checked. Make the appointment today and get in to be seen in case further treatment is needed to make this improve. Good Luck.

my friend had a wart frozen off with liquid nitrogen on the heel of her foot. it turned into a loonie size blister. then, turned black and hardened. it has been 2 months now turning 3 months. should she be concerned?

Eschar : It appears that after cryo ulcerated area did not heal with primary method of normal skin. Instead it made a necrosed area, black and thick, an eschar. A doctor will need to help by removing this so normal skin can grow. It may be infected sometimes and may require antibiotics. I hope it helps.

Talon Noir: Most common diagnosis iis talon noir fancy way of saying "black heel" often seen in runners or people with ill fitting shoes. It is caused by bleeding under the skin. Melanoma can also cause a black spot . If you are concerned see a dermatologist to allay or confirm your fears.

No it doesn't: are you putting lotion on because your heel hurts? or is it that your just putting lotion on and then lotion is irritating you?
