Most: such findings are benign. BUT, doctors are taught to think "guilty (bad things) until proven innicent (not so bad things). See a dermatologist or surgeon to exclude melanoma. HRS, MD, FACC www.thepmc.org

It can be looked at: with a dermascope to give an indication if it is benign or malignant. when in doubt a biopsy is in order.
