Not GERD: Gerd doesn't cause back pain. It's more likely to be muscle strain at your age.

See your dr.: You should see your dr. For an evaluation. Sometimes  illnesses can have varied or overlapping symptoms such as heart disease ; gerd. Eat several small meals slowly throughout the day. Avoid spicy, rich and fried foods.  Elevate your head at night. Try Tums (calcium carbonate) or maalox during pregnancy for heartburn. If u still feel dizzy ; breathless get checked for anxiety.

Not GERD: Those are not symptoms of gerd. They can be sx of anxiety but a check up with your OB is indicated.

Amount: Try small meals at more frequent interval-"grazing". Your pregnancy compresses your stomach which can't tolerate being filled very much so try to keep the volume small. What you're actually eating isn't particularly important. Don't lie down for 1-2 hours after eating or drinking; maintaining upright posture favors passage of digested food downward through your duodenum instead of your esophagus.

cardiologist said i have gerd and postural dizziness had it early hours laying down flat ,lifting head up slightly felt faint but didn't just queezy temporary .put head flat ,normal again bed raised 6" for gerd is this ok for postural dizziness too?

Depends how you feel: If the head of the bed being raised doesn;t make your dizziness worse, then it's ok. By the way, if medications and lifestyle changes are not treating your GERD in an acceptable manner, consider finding someone that performs the Stretta Procedure - endoscopic therapy for GERD. Gave up?: really- go to a hospital, get admitted and have comprehensive blood and urine testing performed: physicians really don't "give up" and the computer is not your doctor.

i have been diagnosed gerd & i get heartburns almost once a week. i usually take a pantoprezole tablet then - is it safe to take it so often?

Talk to doc but: First you need to take the Pantoprazole 30-60 mins before your first meal of the day.   There is also concern that chronic use of this type of drug increases the risk in getting pneumonia and possibly traveler's diarrhea. 
If taken only when heartburn starts, then a Histamine 2 reverse agonist (Pepcid, Zantac) may be more appropriate.

See below: There are a number of medications used to treat acid reflux. Non-medical therapies or preventitive therapies include weight loss, avoiding late meals, avoiding trigger foods, avoiding caffeine, nicotine and alcohol.
